Jack Androvich, Autodesk

Sr. Director of Marketing Operations & Intelligence

Jack Androvich is Sr. Director of Marketing Operations & Intelligence at Autodesk Inc.  He is accountable for the Company's global Marketing & Customer Intelligence, Investments & Infrastructure practices.  Before joining Autodesk, Jack has senior marketing executive positions in both clean tech & high tech companies.


Bill Dembinski, HP

VP, HP Enterprise Business Marketing Operations

Bill Dembinski is Vice President of Marketing Operations for Hewlett-Packard Company's Enterprise Business. Bill manages a global team responsible for marketing automation; marketing metrics and processes and planning; customer intelligence, and optimizing shared marketing services.

Bill's experience in Marketing Operations includes the successful integration of marketing from five acquired companies into HP Software – Peregrine, Mercury, Bristol, SPI Dynamics and Opsware. His integration work included the merging of such activities as staff, collateral, budgets, web, brand and marketing automation.

Bill has held a variety of management positions at HP, working in hardware, software and services businesses. His diverse background includes product marketing, strategic planning, program management, business operations, and manufacturing.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.



Rich Vancil, IDC

VP, Executive Advisory Group

Rich Vancil, Vice President of the Executive Advisory Group, leads IDC's practice areas focused on providing senior technology marketing and sales executives with research and insights to improve the productivity and efficiency of their organizations. Rich started the practice for IDC with the 2003 introduction of the CMO Advisory Research service, focusing on analysis of marketing investments and key marketing performance indicators across the worldwide IT vendor community. The Executive Advisory Group includes practice areas for CMO's and Marketing Operations executives and Sales and Sales Operations executives. Rich is a frequent speaker at IT industry and marketing executive forums where he presents his views on trends in technology marketing trends and best practices to improve operational efficiency. His work has been quoted in leading marketing publications such as B2B, CMO Magazine and CRM Magazine.

Rich has over 20 years of high technology marketing experience as a both a researcher and market practitioner. In the technology market research arena, Rich worked for The Ledgeway Group as one of the first ServiceTrends program researchers, covering the IT services sector. Following Ledgeway’s acquisition by Dataquest in 1990, Rich held roles in sales and marketing for Dataquest.

As a marketing practitioner, Rich has been the "chief marketer" for several early-stage information technology companies. He was VP of Marketing at Individual, Inc. the on-line news service, where he lead marketing and contributed to company growth from 20 employees through Individual's IPO in 1996. He was VP of Marketing and later COO at Shareholder.com; a provider of managed web services for investor relations. Rich was also CMO at Tilion, Inc. a provider of supply chain visibility solutions.

Rich has a B.A. from Connecticut College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. In 2004, Rich was selected as IDC's James Peacock Memorial Award recipient, IDC's highest research honor. In 2005 and 2006 Rich was named one of the "Top 100 Most Influential" people by B-to-B Magazine.







Jennifer Pockell-Wilson, DemandBase

VP, Marketing & Demand Operations

Jennifer leads the demand-focused marketing teams and demand operations at Demandbase.  She is passionate about aligning sales & marketing toward common goals through the coordination of language, systems and process.  Before joining Demandbase, Jen was the Senior Director of Global Marketing Operations at Polycom and has also spent time at Hyperion, PeopleSoft, Ernst & Young LLP and Lotus Development. Jennifer earned her M.B.A. in Marketing from the Graduate School of Management at the University of California at Davis and her B.A. in Political Science & History from Lewis & Clark College.


Stephan Steiner, SAP

Head of Global Marketing Process Office

Stephan has over 20 years of international marketing, sales and business operations experience in the High Technology, Retail and Banking industries. Currently, Stephan is Head of the Marketing Technology Transformation Practice at SAP, responsible for the management, design and deployment of marketing technology projects worldwide - ensuring SAP's ongoing Marketing success through Technology! Prior to SAP, Stephan led Global Marketing Operations at Business Objects, drove the renewals and online business as Director of Sales Operations at Symantec, and directed Business Operations at Manor AG. At Manor he leveraged his banking and audit background to lead the development and deployment of a new retail accounting application. He is a well-rounded and proven leader with experience in General Management, e-Commerce, Sales, Marketing and Operations disciplines. Stephan¹s strengths include a solid understanding of technology and the ability to define a vision and build strong teams that enable the business, drive organizational change and generate incremental value.




John Neeson, SiriusDecisions Research

Co-Founder/Managing Director

John is a well-recognized thought leader in business-to-business marketing. He, along with Richard and their research team have developed many of the best practice marketing models used in the industry today. John has more than 25 years of experience focused on marketing, product development, sales management, communications and general management for a variety of businesses and industries.

Prior to founding SiriusDecisions 10 years ago, John was chief executive officer of Skila, a SaaS provider of business intelligence solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology industries. John also spent 12 years at Gartner Group as a member of the company's senior management team, holding positions that included vice president of sales, senior vice president of worldwide marketing, and executive vice president and general manager of the Technology Provider Group. John, along with Richard was one of the five officers of the company. He was instrumental in helping Gartner grow from $15 million in yearly sales to $800 million through the development of the company's brand strategy and the creation of concepts such as Enterprise Resource Planning, an industry term used today. While at Gartner, John played an active role in more than 25 acquisitions and investments. John began his career at 3M Corporation in the Media Services division where he was a consultant.

John served as a board member for Jupiter Communications, and also has been an advisor to several start-up companies. He is founder of ExecutiveEdge magazine, a joint venture between Gartner Group and Forbes. John also speaks frequently at industry events.

John received a BA in economics from Ithaca College.



Joe Schwartz, WebEx Cisco

Director, Marketing Operations

With over 18 years of marketing experience, Joe leads the marketing operations and services organizations within Cisco’s Collaboration Software Group (CSG). Joe’s organization is responsible for the Cisco WebEx product line’s global web sites, brand, marcom and creative services, marketing operations, campaign management, lead management, executive events, online events, data and analytics and various strategic initiatives including corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and education marketing. Joe also sits on CSG’s business operations council, customer satisfaction council, and Cisco’s Silicon Valley Civic Council advisory board.

Joe joined Cisco in May of 2007 as part of Cisco’s acquisition of WebEx Communications. Prior to WebEx becoming part of Cisco, Joe spent four years leading numerous marketing functions at WebEx with his most recent role being WW Vice President of Marketing Operations and Segment Marketing. Additional marketing functions Joe has led include global Field Marketing (SMB and Enterprise), Demand Generation, Customer Marketing, Strategic Marketing, and Emerging Markets Marketing.

Prior to WebEx, Joe consulted in the area of Demand Generation and Marketing Operations for companies such as Marimba (now part of BMC Software), Yahoo, as well as several other start-up software companies. Joe also spent six years with Calico Commerce, an ecommerce software pioneer, and now part of Oracle. Joe was a leader in Sales and Marketing Operations at Calico.

Joe holds a BA in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.



Nancy Fessatidis, SAP Marketing

VP, Marketing Operations

As SAP’s Vice President of Marketing Operations, Nancy is responsible for building world-class, scalable operational processes, standards, and infrastructures worldwide.   By deploying standardized processes, systems and tools, Nancy is able to deliver visibility, consistency, and insights that drive marketing effectiveness and efficiency.  Before SAP, Nancy held management positions at start-ups to Fortune 100 companies such as American Express and Wunderman Cato Johnson where she led teams in implementing data-driven innovations and technology solutions to transform the business.  Nancy holds a Master’s degree in Operations Research from Columbia University as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Queens College.
